It’s always a pleasure to revisit a property and see how it has evolved. This recent project took me back to a wonderful home near Mevagissey, where the owners had created a brand new apartment that makes the most of its peaceful valley views. Designed with a coastal theme, the space felt light, bright and welcoming, offering a modern retreat with subtle seaside touches that perfectly reflect its location.
The interiors featured a soft palette inspired by the coast, with gentle blues, sandy neutrals and natural textures that added warmth without overwhelming the clean lines of the design.
Thoughtful accents — from driftwood-style furnishings to simple maritime details — helped to tie the space to its setting without being too obvious.

For the photography, I focused on capturing the light that fills the apartment and the way each room invites you to relax and take in the view. I used natural light wherever possible, adding subtle off-camera flash to ensure the spaces felt fresh and airy in the images. From the open living area to the peaceful bedrooms, every shot was designed to highlight the calm, effortless style of this new addition.
It was a joy to help the owners showcase their latest work and to create imagery that reflects the quiet charm of this lovely coastal apartment. If you’re planning a new project or would like to refresh your property marketing with elegant, considered photography, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
