Tucked away in the countryside near St Austell, this beautiful property offered a sense of calm that you feel the moment you arrive. Surrounded by greenery and complete with its own apple orchard, it was clear this home had been thoughtfully designed for those who value peace, privacy and time spent outdoors — whether it’s long walks with the dogs or simply enjoying the stillness of the garden.
Inside, the interiors were equally considered. Spacious yet welcoming, every room featured elegant styling, natural textures and soft light that complemented the rural setting. My aim with this shoot was to bring out the personality of the home — one that speaks to quiet luxury and simple pleasures.

I worked with a blend of wider compositions and more intimate detail shots using natural light and subtle flash techniques to create balance without disrupting the gentle atmosphere. Particular attention was given to areas where lifestyle and design met — a cosy window seat overlooking the orchard, warm wooden accents and layered textures that invite you to slow down and stay a while.
This project was a reminder of how strong photography can do more than showcase a property. It can capture a way of life. When we photograph homes like this it’s about more than square footage. It’s about emotion, tone and what it feels like to be there.
If you’re looking to share your property’s story through elegant considered imagery I’d love to help. Let’s create something that reflects not just the space but the life waiting within it.
