Framing the Beauty of Nature

This project took me to the peaceful village of Lerryn, Lostwithiel, where I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous riverside property. With its light and airy design, this home felt calm and effortless, a place where the outside world gently flows in through every window.

The interiors had a soft, relaxed style that perfectly suited the location. From the cosy kitchen with its warm textures to the beautifully designed master bedroom, every space was filled with natural light and offered something unique. What stood out most were the views — framed like moving artwork in clean white window frames. Whether looking out over the river or watching the changing sky, each room felt like a quiet observation point for nature.

Throughout the shoot, I worked to preserve that sense of tranquillity in the images. Using natural light and subtle flash techniques, I aimed to balance the soft tones of the interiors with the glow from the landscape beyond. I paid particular attention to the flow of space, capturing how each room connected to the view — allowing the property to speak for itself.

This riverside home was a reminder that thoughtful design doesn’t need to be loud. Sometimes it’s about calm, considered choices that bring the outside in and create a space people truly want to stay in.

If you have a property that deserves to be shown in its best light, whether riverside, coastal or countryside — I’d love to help you capture it with care.
